I need to change the battery and dont want to lose any dat. How do I back the gp8 up without losing data...

Hello. I own a used GP-8 and want the factory settings/sounds back. Previous owner messed all up in both bank's. I have opened it to find some kind of battery, maybee it eventually could be moved for several ours and it will reset, i dont know. There are also three fuses, what happens if a take out all three of them? Beside the powersupply, there are a grey cylinder shaped plasticunit who is the most common in my mind to be the battery?. If anybody can help me somehow, i am prepared to manually program all the factorysounds. That require ofcourse som kind of manual. I don't know if this is included in owners manual, i don't have that either. If anybody can help me tips, websites, wher to download the manual and tecnical cheme for free in the first time, i would be most grateful:-) I know the manual are out there, i once downloaded it for free, but unfortunally i have mispaced it. I have not used this GP-8 for about 0 years! In adwance, thank you all for the help. Egil...
